Vans Premium Old Skool 36 Paint Splatter Turtledove

The Vans Premium Old Skool 36, born in 1977, has long been a staple of skate culture, its low‑profile silhouette and reinforced toe cap instantly recognisable to enthusiasts. This Paint Splatter Turtledove iteration drapes the classic canvas‑suede upper in a muted turtledove hue, over which a hand‑applied burst of multicoloured splatter creates a striking contrast that feels both artistic and intentional. Built to the Style 36 specification, the shoe retains the double‑stitched eyestay, suede side‑stripe and grease‑treated canvas that ages gracefully, while the premium construction adds a denser, more refined feel than standard releases. Its blend of heritage pedigree, the bespoke paint‑splatter finish and the subtle yet distinctive colour palette makes it an appealing choice for collectors who appreciate a nuanced evolution of an iconic silhouette.
